Geese Beware: Watertown’s Very Own “Goose Mitigation Dog” is Coming to Clear Up the City’s Fields
Watertown – During the Watertown City Council meeting on March 28th, City Manager George Proakis announced that the city has acquired a goose mitigation dog to help drive geese from the city’s fields. Vee, a four year-old border collie, will soon be on her way to Watertown from a training facility in Virginia.
The city of Watertown has created a webpage to let residents track Vee’s efforts to clean up the community’s grass fields.
