Early Voting Begins This Week | Resources for Watertown’s Local Election
On November 7th, Watertown voters will head to the polls to vote on contested races for City Council President and School Committee. Here is everything you need to know to help you prepare to cast your ballot.

Early Voting
In-person early voting will be held at Watertown’s City Hall at 149 Main Street in the Phillip Pain Lower Hearing room on the following dates:
- Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Vote by Mail
The last day to request a mail-in ballot is November 3rd, 2023. Request a ballot here.
Accessible Electronic Remote Voting System
The City of Watertown will be offering an electronic voting system to assist voters who are blind, have low vision, or have dexterity disabilities to participate in vote-by-mail and early voting. Click here to learn more.
Voter Registration Status
Check your voter registration status – If you are an inactive voter, you can still vote on election day. Fill out a blank 2023 census form and mail it to the City Clerk’s office, 149 Main Street, Watertown MA, 02472. Learn more about the inactive voter status
