City Council Approves Funds to Resurface Victory Field with New Turf


WATERTOWN – The Watertown City Council approved a $1.5 million order to resurface the Victory Field turf with a new type of artificial turf material. The motion passed 6-3 following over two hours of impassioned statements from residents and city officials who spoke for an against the continuous use of artificial turf.
