WCA-TV’s Youth Workshop is Back This Summer!

Aspiring filmmakers between the ages of 9 and 14 are welcomed to sign up for our two week Film Workshop this summer. This Workshop is FREE of charge to all students in Watertown thanks to a generous grant from the Watertown Cultural Council. We have a maximum capacity of 15 students.
This Workshop will run Monday – Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 1p.m. during the weeks of July 21st and July 28th. During each class, students will learn the basic skills of video production to create a project of their choice.
Students with friends and family can join us for the premiere of our students’ production. The premiere will be hosted on the week of August 4th. Refreshments will be provided and the film will play on the big screen.
Please fill out the information below. Parents and guardians will be sent a Talent Release Form to sign, allowing their child to be filmed and shown on our local channels and on-demand platform. Please email our Production Training and Equipment Manager, Victoria, at victoria@wcatv.org with any questions.
This is supported in part by a grant from the Watertown Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
