Watertown Police Department Hosts First-Ever National Night Out
WATERTOWN – The Watertown Police Department welcomed the community for its first-ever National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5th, joining cities and towns across the country in the annual event. Residents were invited to explore the police station, meet officers, and learn about department operations in a relaxed, approachable setting.
Guests enjoyed K-9 demonstrations, displays of vintage police cars and motorcycles, and hands-on opportunities to interact with equipment and learn about various divisions, including detectives, community policing, and patrol. The event also featured participation from the Watertown Fire Department and Department of Public Works.
