Mosesian Center for the Arts Marks 20 Years of Creativity and Community Impact
WATERTOWN –The Mosesian Center for the Arts celebrated two decades of artistic excellence with a festive gala on May 22, honoring the Watertown institution’s profound impact on local culture, education, and performance.
The celebration featured live performances, tributes from community leaders, and reflections on the Center’s evolution from a reimagined Watertown Arsenal space into a vibrant hub for creativity. Guests heard from students, actors, and longtime supporters about the Center’s role in nurturing talent and fostering collaboration.
In a video message kicking off the celebration, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healy praised the Mosesian Center as a vital part of the region’s cultural fabric. Executive Director Roberta Miller, who is stepping down this summer after serving as interim director since September, was honored for her visionary leadership and commitment to community access and inclusion.
