Boston Gold Kings Hockey Offers Unique Experience for Fans, Opportunities for Players
WATERTOWN – The Boston Gold Kings, part of the Power Play Senior Hockey League (PPSHL), play at John Ryan Arena in Watertown and provide former junior and college players with an opportunity to continue playing competitive hockey. Originally spanning multiple states, the league has since consolidated into four teams within Massachusetts, with plans to expand.
For fans, the Gold Kings offer an affordable, family-friendly alternative to Boston’s professional sports scene. Spectators can enjoy full-length, high-intensity games with entertainment during intermissions.
Players come from diverse backgrounds, balancing careers in various industries while staying committed to the sport. The team actively engages with the community through events like the annual Faire in the Square and youth hockey programs.
