Watertown Field Hockey Claims Fourth Straight State Title with Win Over Sandwich
WORCESTER, MA – The Watertown High School field hockey team added another chapter to its storied legacy on Saturday, defeating top-seeded Sandwich in the MIAA Division 3 State Championship. The victory capped off yet another undefeated season for the Raiders, who have now claimed an astonishing 22 state titles in program history.
Watertown’s 2-0 win extended its incredible winning streak to 97 games. This marks the team’s fourth consecutive state championship, with Sandwich being their opponent in three of those title games.
