WCA-TV has become a crucial source of information for the City of Watertown. We have had to adapt during unprecedented times to meet communities where they are, opening our studios to host meetings and investing in equipment to broadcast from various locations and cover voices and perspectives that for too long have gone unheard. We’ve expanded our podcast capabilities and outreached to new community groups to emphasize that the chance to be a media maker is available to everyone. At the same time, we continue to play an important role in a shrinking local news landscape, providing vital coverage and dissemination of information to the community through our news program, bulletin boards, newsletter, meetings, and event coverage.
