Donations
Why Donate?
WCA-TV has become a crucial source of information for the City of Watertown. We have had to adapt during unprecedented times to meet communities where they are, opening our studios to host meetings and investing in equipment to broadcast from various locations and cover voices and perspectives that for too long have gone unheard. We’ve expanded our podcast capabilities and outreached to new community groups to emphasize that the chance to be a media maker is available to everyone. At the same time, we continue to play an important role in a shrinking local news landscape, providing vital coverage and dissemination of information to the community through our news program, bulletin boards, newsletter, meetings, and event coverage. Your support will ensure that we are able to continue to provide these services.
How Your Donation Helps
Donations support programs such as youth and adult workshops, Watertown Cable News, internships, student scholarships, and general event coverage. We also use donation funds to repair and upgrade our production equipment to be able to provide our staff and volunteers with access to professional, industry grade equipment. In a world where our funding structure needs modernizing, your donation will ensure that we can continue to support programs that are the most important to you.
