Watertown Police Partner with Historical Society on Calming Dairy Exhibit
WATERTOWN – A few months ago, officers from the Watertown Police Department reached out to the Historical Society of Watertown with an idea — could they collaborate on an exhibit to bring a calming, community-focused presence to the station lobby? The answer was a resounding yes. The result is a new display featuring historic photos, advertisements, and milk bottles from Watertown’s former dairies — Andrews Milk Co., Green Meadows, Shick/Watertown Dairy, Speedwell Farms, and Woodland Dairy — all drawn from the Historical Society’s collection at the Edmund Fowle House.
