Long-Running Charity Basketball Tournament Will Be a Fun Day for the Entire Family
Watertown – The 28th annual Patrick’s PALS 3-on-3 basketball tournament will happen on Saturday, June 1st at the TRACK at New Balance in Brighton. This annual event raises money for FRAXA Research Foundation who’s sole mission is to find a cure for Fragile X syndrome, the leading cause of autism.
Patrick’s PALS is expanding the day for those not interested in playing or watching basketball. On the ample field space at the TRACK, adjacent to the basketball courts, there will be a variety of age-appropriate field games set up, fully supervised. Whether playing cornhole or throwing inflatable axes at a velcro target, PALS will be a day for all ages.
Basketball teams can still sign up to compete in the tournament. Email Patrick’s Pals organizer Jim Vershbow at [email protected] or call 617-599-2641.
