City Plans to Add Six New Pickleball Courts at Watertown’s Filippello Park

Watertown – The City of Watertown is working to accommodate the fast growing sport in the country. In the fall of 2023, 99 residents signed up to participate in the Watertown Recreation Department’s pickleball league. But with only one court in town, things got a little crowded.

During a community meeting on February 20th, recreation and city officials presented their proposal to add six new pickleball courts at Filippello Park.
