Watertown Resident Discovers Talent for Nail Design, Hopes to Open Storefront
WATERTOWN – In 2020, Watertown resident and Cambridge teacher Rickteyzia Simmons discovered she had a real talent for nail design. After taking on some clients, she established her business, Candy Paint by Teyz.
She has offially taken the business as far as it can go working out of her home studio, and now has her sights set on opening a store font at Arsenal Yards. Rickteyzia has already had conversations with Arsenal Yards, who is interested in welcoming Candy Paint as a tenant. But first, she has to raise the capital to renovate and build the studio.
Rickteyzia has launched a GoFundMe page to raise the money. You can see some of her nail designs on her Candy Paint’s instagram page.
