Over 40 Musicians to Perform During the Return of Watertown’s MusicFest

The following press release was provided by Friends of Watertown Music
WATERTOWN – Friends of Watertown Music invites you to attend our 10th Annual MusicFest, on Friday, April 28, from 5:30 to 9:15, at the Watertown Middle School.
MusicFest is a fun community event, offering something for everyone!

This year’s event will feature over 40 performances, across 3 stages. The variety of performers will include student musicians, Watertown Public School teachers, local rock bands, established musicians, a vignette of musical theater, and more. Performances run from 5 to 20 minutes, so attendees will have the chance to go around and see as many acts as they wish.
The evening will kick off with performances by the esteemed tenor, David Rivera Bozon, as well as the Cello Duo. Dr Fred Schuetze, former Director of the WPS Strings Program, will make a welcome return to the Watertown stage with an acoustic set, and the program will conclude with some of our local favorites, Ruth Rappaport and Joe Pete Wetherbee, and the Wild Wannabes.
MusicFest will also feature an ‘instrument petting zoo’ to inspire budding musicians, and for anyone wanting a snack, pizza and refreshments will be sold throughout the evening.

The community is invited to attend all or part of the evening.
All proceeds from this MusicFest fundraiser helps the Friends of Watertown Music support.
