A Small “Microforest” will be Planted at a Watertown Elementary School Later This Year
WATERTOWN – This fall, a small “mini-forrest” will be planted at Watertown’s Lowell Elementary School. The initiative is backed by the City of Watertown and Watertown Public Schools in cooperation with local groups Trees for Watertown, Forests for Watertown, and Watertown Community Gardens.
On April 30th, 2024, organizers held a community information at Lowell Elementary School to provide more information about the forest. The meeting is available to watch in full below:
