Dozens of Watertown Residents Attend Women’s Marches in Boston, Washington D.C
Boston – Following the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States, millions of Americans all over the country gathered in major cities to march in support of women’s rights. Local groups Progressive Watertown and Watertown Citizens for Peace, Justice and the Environment were among the hundreds of groups who participated in both the Boston Women’s March for America and the Women’s March on Washington in Washington D.C.
Watertown Weekly News talked to many of the people who marched. They talked about why they marched, how it helps women everywhere, and how these demonstrations can be more inclusive in the future.
