Committee Considering Multiple Designs for Next High School Mascot

Phillips School Building – Over a dozen designs and descriptions of logos/mascots have been submitted to the High School Mascot Screening Committee. At the committee’s June 13 meeting at the Phillips School Building, the committee examined each submission to determine which ones best exemplify Watertown High School. Some of the submissions included original designs, images from google, written descriptions, or photographs of animals and objects in town.

The committee chose a combination of multiple submissions that will be given to a graphic designer who will create several of their own designs. Of those, the best will be chosen by the screening committee and then sent to the school committee for a final vote.
