Residents Give Feedback for Watertown Square Redesign Project

Watertown Free Public Library – On Tuesday, July 10 residents gathered at the Watertown Free Public Library for the Watertown Square Improvements Projects Open House. The town will be redesigning Watertown Square to improve mobility and safety for all users including pedestrians, transit riders, vehicles and others.

The public was presented with six different plans. Each plan had different tactics designed to tackle the issues created by redesigning Watertown Square. Staff members were available to answer questions about the thinking behind each plan.

The development team collected the information and will now move forward with the top three plans, which will lead to another meeting to find the right plan.
