Traveling Vietnam Memorial Comes to Gore Place for First Time Since 2005

Gore Place – From August 11th through the 14th, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall will be at Gore Place to be viewed for 24 hours a day. The traveling wall, which tours the country 365 days a year, will have ceremonies each day to honor veterans and their families.

Those who have loved ones on the wall can visit, locate their names via computer, and even make a rubbing with their name using a crayon and paper.

Watertown is home to nine soldiers who were killed in the war in Vietnam. See who they are and where their names can be found on the graphic below.
