School Building Committee Discusses the Groundwork Renovation Plans for the Hosmer, Cunniff and Lowell Elementary Schools

Watertown – The School Building met to discuss their goals and timeline for the renovation of the Hosmer, Cunniff and Lowell Elementary Schools. On May 16 the committee gathered at the Phillips Administration Building. They discussed future goals for the renovation projects including having enough classrooms, staying within the budget, and making the schools environmentally friendly and energy efficient. On May 30 the committee gathered at Town Hall. A construction timeline was presented which would estimate that all three schools should be finished by the end of September 2022. Additionally, conceptual designs were shared to with committee as well as a suggestion to use the current Hosmer building as a swing space that other schools can occupy during construction.
