Watertown Commemorates 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor
Charles River Dock – “December 7th, 1941 – a day which will live in infamy.”
Yesterday marks 75 years since president Franklin Delano Roosevelt spoke those words following the bombing of of the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The attack, which claimed over two-thousand and four hundred lives, was the catalyst for World War II. Take a look at how Watertown veterans, town officials, and residents joined together to pay tribute to those who were killed in the attack.
