Parking Meter Upgrades Could Create Revenue, Reduce Congestion

Town Hall – Putting coins in parking meters can be a hassle, especially if you’re not the kind of person to keep change on hand. These high-tech meters have been implemented in many surrounding cities and towns.

The ongoing discussion in town has been upgrading the parking meters to something more convenient, while at the same time reducing parking congestion on Main Street and in Watertown Square. Town Officials will continue to discuss the possibility of upgrading the town’s parking technology in the coming months.
