Watertown Police Department – An 11-month-old male German Shepherd has joined Watertown Police as its first working K-9 in 25 years. After an extensive training program, this playful and friendly puppy will transition into the serious role of being a working police dog that will help officers with a variety of tasks.

The dog was named Echo before arriving in Watertown, but the department is inviting the community to submit suggestions for a different name via their facebook page.
