Watertown Community Welcomes Thousands of Firefighters who Traveled to Joseph Toscano’s Funeral

Main Street – Police closed off Main Street from Watertown Square to Whites Avenue on Wednesday morning to allow for thousands of firefighters from all over the country to attend firefighter Joseph Toscano’s funeral service. The Watertown community came out in full support of the Watertown Fire Department and the Toscano family during this difficult time. Many restaurants opened early in the morning so firefighters could stay warm, get something to eat, and even have a drink. The Boys and Girls Club of Watertown also provided a place for firefighters to watch news coverage of the funeral and a place to eat.
