75 Years Later, Boston Remembers Deadly Cocoanut Grove Nightclub Fire

Boston – Hundreds gathered at the Revere Hotel in Boston on Saturday, November 25 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire. The fire, which killed 492 people, is considered the deadliest nightclub fire in history. Two Watertown residents were killed in the flames, and Waterton Library Board of Trustee-elect Michael Hanlon serves on the Cocoanut Grove Memorial Board of Directors.
