Art Created by Alzheimer’s Patients to be Sold to Benefit Foundation

Residence in Watertown Square – Over the past few months, Alzheimer’s residents on the Reflections memory care floor of the Residence in Watertown Square have been creating works of art in a variety of styles. According to Reflections Director Jen Naugler, a creative outlet such as painting, drawing, and sewing can help those with Alzheimer’s express feelings and emotions that they otherwise would not be able to express verbally.

On August 20th, the Residence will be holding an art sale where all the art created by the residents to be sold. All the money raised will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association when “Team Watertown” walks in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in September.
