Current, Former Watertown Veterans Honored at Annual Veterans Day Breakfast

Pvt. Charles J. Shutt Detachment – Town officials joined current and former Watertown veterans and their families at the Pvt. Charles J. Shutt Detachment’s annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Friday, November 11th. The event featured speeches by Watertown High School junior Jeremy Ornstein and retired Marine Corps Col. Ted Ohnemus. Veterans who fought in the Vietnam war received pins from Watertown Veterans Services Agent Mark Comeiro. Here’s a look at our team’s coverage of this somber yet uplifting morning.

On the evening prior to Veterans Day, a free concert was held at Watertown Middle School as a tribute to veterans. The show featured the Hal McIntyre Orchestra and was conducted by Watertown’s own Don Pentleton and starring Steve Marvin. Here’s brief clip of the concert.
