Town Council Announces Cambridge Will Temporarily Stop Removing Watertown Trees

Town Hall – At the Feb. 28 Town Council meeting, Council President Mark Sideris addressed the controversy of the city of Cambridge removing trees from Watertown’s linear path that runs behind town hall and between Waverly and Whites Avenue. Cambridge had been removing the trees because they reside on top of a pipe that supplies water to the city. Officials feared the roots could damage the pipe.
