Sponsorships

WCA-TV is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the residents of Watertown, Massachusetts. As a non-profit, we cannot advertise or run any paid programming on our channels. However, we can offer sponsorships to businesses in Watertown for broadcast on our channels, website, and community bulletin board. In addition, we can offer sponsorship of a specific program or underwriting for various sporting events. With over 7,500 subscribers and hundreds of viewers online, this is a unique way to benefit your business while also supporting the community!

Sports Underwriting

  • $250
    • Field hockey, soccer, wrestling, volleyball, lacrosse, OR baseball
    • Three (3) pre recorded audio spots played throughout the duration of the game
      • Produced by business or by WCA-TV staff member
  • $300
    • Football, basketball, OR hockey
    • Three (3) verbal spots read by WCA-TV announcers throughout the duration of the game

Rules

Underwriter/sponsor messages may:

  • Identify and depict sponsor's products or services
  • Show a logo
  • Use a well-established slogan or corporate positioning statement
  • Show a telephone number
  • Show a web site address

Underwriter/sponsor messages may not:

  • Use comparative or superlative language
  • Offer price, discount or financing information (including "free")
  • Use "calls to action" which direct the viewer to call, visit, try or compare, etc
