WCAC Summer Camp... Registration now open!
Tuesday, 13 July 2010 18:32
Parents, are you looking for a summer activity for your kids? If so, Watertown Community Access Center will be holding a weeklong summer day camp from August 8th – 13th, which will introduce middle school students to the world of television and video production.

This clinic will prepare your child for the world of digital video through hands-on experience. Join us to learn all aspects of basic pre-and post-video production using our state-of-the-art digital video cameras. WCAC’s experienced staff will teach your child camera usage and maintenance, including white balance, focus, zooming, panning, and proper tripod use. Your child will leave with a strong understanding of video camera fundamentals and by the end of the week, will have shot and edited their own television program, which will air on Watertown Community Access.

Classes will be held from 9am to 3pm at our studios, 50 Columbia Street and students are required to bring their own lunch. Open to kids ages 10-14.

New DVD Copy Fees
Wednesday, 06 January 2010 15:04
Since our inception, WCAC has tried to keep access to our facility, as well as the services we provide, free of charge. During the economic recession of 2009, we were forced to look at our budget and due to rising costs, WCAC will start charging for DVDs effective January 1, 2010. In an effort to keep our rates affordable; however, we have set the fee at a modest $5.00 per copy for residents and $10.00 for non-residents. Thank you, and all the best in 2010!
