No, WCAC is not your cable provider; we are the town's Cable Access station so if your cable is not working, you should call your provider.

I have the DISH. Can I get WCAC Channels on it?

Unfortunately, no. You can however watch WCAC live online 24/7 by clicking on the "Watch Live" link on the left hand side of the page. We also offer archived content in our "Video on Demand" section located in the main menu.

Can I have my own show on Watertown Community Access Television?

Absolutely... if you live or work in Watertown you are eligible to become a member. Membership is free, and members can produce their own programming.

Are the hosts of your programs paid?

All of our hosts and producers are volunteer members of Watertown Community Access Center.

How do I become a member?

Do you accept interns?

What is the Watertown Community Bulletin Board?

The community bulletin board is a way for local non-profits, schools, civic organizations and municipal departments to get the word out about events and other notices deemed important to Watertown cable subscribers and the community at large. It is played throughout the day on Comcast Channel 26 and RCN Channel 15 and in between programming on our other channels.

How do I submit something to the Watertown Community Bulletin Board?

There are a few ways to get your message to us. You can drop it off in person at the studio, you can email it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. I have a show I want broadcasted on Watertown Community Access Television. What should I do?

All programming must be submitted by a WCAC member who will assume the roll as community producer for the program. Programming must not contain any commercial advertising, calls to action, or libelous/slanderous language. Obscenity and pornography are illegal and prohibited at all times. WCAC does not preview or review for content, however, community producers and those submitting “bicycled” programming are expected to make responsible decisions regarding the content of their programs; our procedures encourage producers to restrict extreme violence, indecency and profanity be played only between the hours of 11pm and 4am. Producers must sign a production form, which includes language that will indemnify WCAC from any liability of any kind that might arise from the cablecast of the program.

The formats we accept are dvd (preferred) and mini-dv. For a fee, we will transfer VHS, 8mm and 3/4' tapes to dvd for cablecast.
